清平乐 重阳日有雨 QINGPINGYUE Rain on Double Ninth Day

清晨骤雨， A sudden shower in early morning,

珠砾当街舞。 Like on the street beads are dancing.

每岁重九阳和煦， Every year on Double Ninth it is sunny,

今个云浓天宇。 But today it is cloudy .

俄顷雨住天晴， Soon stopped raining,

遍周皆是坳泓。 All around it is sopping .

至晚复忽滂霈， In the evening it poured with rain,

尽日却也空明。 But during the day it is fine.
