灵岩山上青莲宇， A Buddhist temple is on Lingyan summit,
清晨登顶瞻禅祖。 Which I ascended in the morning to pay my respect.
访长老山居， Visiting the residence of the Zen Master,
聆弘自舒。 I listened respectfully to his Buddhist lecture.

青峦生白雾， White fog arose in the green mountains,
岚气穿林树。 Mist going around the trees.
烟景淡含虚， It was obscure in the midair,
晴光泛太湖。 To the Lake Taihu the sun adding lustre.
